Frame rate on PS5, Xbox and PS5 Pro
According to Brazil’s Flow Games, Rob Nelson of Rockstar North told its creator Davy Jones that during development the game runs at 30fps on consoles. Whether a 60fps mode comes at launch or later, Nelson said, is for the technical team to confirm.

Do you need a PS5 Pro?
No.
The PS Store marks the game as PS5 Pro Enhanced, but the standard PS5 is supported too. What the label delivers has not been explained in detail.
So in our view it is too early to buy a PS5 Pro just for GTA 6: better to wait for the first tests after launch.
What the PS5 offers
On the game’s page Sony promises DualSense haptic feedback and adaptive triggers on PS5, sound effects from the controller’s speaker, Tempest 3D audio and near-instant loading thanks to the SSD.
Sony promises all of this for the PS5 in general, not just the Pro.
The PS Store lists Remote Play support for the game: it streams from your own PS5, so you still need the console.
Which PS5 models work
Any of them.
There is no PS4 version: Sony says the game is playable only on PS5. Rockstar names only PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The physical version is a code in a box with no disc. It is on sale from 12 November, Standard Edition only.
So you don’t need a disc drive: a standard PS5, a Slim, a Digital Edition or a Pro will all do.
On PS5 the game needs 212 GB of free space.

The GTA VI DualSense controller
Sony is releasing two limited-edition GTA VI DualSense controllers, black and white, at a recommended price of €84.99, $84.99 or £74.99. Sales start on 19 November, though the date may vary by country.
Pre-orders opened on 10 September on PlayStation Direct, Sony’s online store. The white controller is sold in limited quantities worldwide, on PlayStation Direct and at participating retailers. The black one is sold only on PlayStation Direct, and through select retailers in countries where PlayStation Direct is not available.
Whether these controllers will be sold in Ukraine, and for how much, is unknown: PlayStation Direct does not operate in Ukraine, and the Ukrainian PlayStation site does not list them.
You don’t need it for the game: every DualSense has haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
Is there a PS5 bundle with GTA 6?
Not an official one.
